Everybody praises me for being brainy, and I sure as hell don't know why. They say, it's because I learn quick, and express my views in a certain manner no one else can.
Although I wonder most of the time, there are times I curse myself for being gifted with an above average intelligence. Yes, you got it right..I think too much. Way too much; mostly abstract things, about life, about existence, about the future, about the mankind, about good, about evil, and so on, and so forth. And these thoughts, get me really worked up, and make me want to explode, so that "creation" happens once again!
Speaking of which, here's a thought that passes by quite often:-
What's the big deal about a nuclear war anyway? Don't you think its about time the world was destroyed? There are just too many people in this world, with each and every one of them wanting to conquer the rest of the world. Sure, the magnitude of that desire may vary from one person to another, this the basic instinct that keeps man working for a living. This is the the basic feeling, that makes a man make love, to create offsprings, and nurture them.
But when there isn't enough room in this world. When 'survival' takes struggle and hard work, I can't help, but ask. Is it worth it? Truly, is "sweat-of-a-hard-day's-labour" worth a loaf of bread?
On the other hand, imagine a setting in a post-apocalyptic age. 95% of the world's population is turned to dust. But only 50% of man made artifacts were lost. Humanity exists, but only in small pockets; villages or communities that have taken shelter in ruins and collapsed buildings. Society is run by the rule of man (and not the 'rule of law'

. Here, every man is free to do what he wants. Only his conscience can control him. If you want bliss, live among people in these little pockets and be protected by your ruler. If you want power, set out into the world, pillage the ruins, forage for treasures, employ servants and soldiers with those treasures and become a ruler yourself. There is no room for competition in such a world. Everybody can flourish. Nobody needs perish. Every single life is valued, and not one person is a burden.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep...
And miles to go before I sleep
